Sell or donate

Turn outgrown gear into cash

Drop-off: Saturday, November 21, 2026, 8:30–11 a.m., Bethlehem Central High School cafeteria.

Two ways to clear out the garage

Consign

Sell it and get paid

  • No fee to consign. You choose the price for each item.
  • If it sells, you get the money, minus a 35% commission that supports the troop. You keep 65%.
  • You’re paid by check. Pick it up, with anything that didn’t sell, after the sale, once volunteers have tallied sales and printed the checks.
  • Can’t make pick-up? We mail your check to the address on your seller form.
  • Want anything that doesn’t sell donated? Tick the box on your seller form.
Donate

Give it to the troop

  • Nothing to price and nothing to pick up.
  • Every dollar it brings in supports Troop 75’s camping and outdoor program.
  • Your gear goes to a local family who will use it.
  • Need a receipt for your taxes? We can give you one.
Drop-off day

Saturday, November 21, 2026

Bring your gear to the Bethlehem Central High School cafeteria, 700 Delaware Avenue. Drop-off runs 8:30–11 a.m.. The public sale follows from 1–4 p.m., so stick around or come back to shop!

How drop-off works

  1. Fill out a seller form with your contact details and a list of your items.
  2. Set a price for each item. Volunteers put a Sportsmart tag on it, which is scanned at checkout.
  3. Bring as much as you like. There’s no limit on the number of items.

What sells

Downhill & cross-country skis · Snowboards · Ski & snowboard boots · Snowshoes · Ice skates · Hockey gear · Lacrosse gear · Baseball & softball · Soccer · Tennis & racquet sports · Bikes · Golf clubs · Exercise equipment · Helmets · Winter outerwear, hats & gloves, and gear for just about any other sport. Not sure about something? Ask us.

Get the best price

  • Clean it up. Wiped-down gear sells faster.
  • Keep pairs together: tie skis, poles and skates so they stay matched.
  • Note sizes where shoppers can see them, such as boot size, ski length and bike frame size.
  • Price to sell. Shoppers come for bargains, and anything priced reasonably tends to go.

Please note: items not picked up are donated or discarded.

What we don’t accept

If you wouldn’t buy it at a store or a garage sale, please leave it at home. That includes broken gear, furniture and anything that would sell for less than $2.

Can’t come on sale morning?

We have very little storage, so please bring gear during drop-off if you can. If that won’t work, contact us and we’ll try to arrange something.
